The President, Trustees, current and former employees of
the Windham Foundation and its subsidiaries are saddened by the September 30, 2009 death of our
emeritus colleague, Ed Toohey, after his long and courageous battle with
illness. A Board member for over 27 years, he servedas Chair of the Finance Committee and as
Foundation Treasurer. Hisfinancialexpertise and business acumen provided greatconfidence and clarity and helped
create theplatform for many years
ofgrowth and philanthropy.He isrememberedfondly for his sharp wit and wonderful sense
of style. He is sorely missed and we extend our sincere condolences to his wife
Phyllis, daughter Karen and theentire
family.
